How can I renovate my shelterbelt?

  • Shelterbelt renovation is an important part of the management plan for all shelterbelts on your farm. Having a good renovation plan will ensure the uninterrupted protection that shelterbelts provide for your crops, livestock, farm property, and the soil.
  • Available resources on shelterbelt renovation have been summarized at the recent Great Plains Windbreak Renovation and Innovation Conference (Jul/2012), where experts from Canada and the United States shared their knowledge and experience with shelterbelt renovation.
